The rotor consists of a shaft, a turbine and an impeller. The rotor's moment of inertia is very low, which allows the exhaust turbocharger to automatically increase the boost pressure during a typical vehicle acceleration phase. Therefore, the engine has high responsiveness and can provide high torque even at low rotational speeds. This means that turbo lag that occurs in vehicles with turbocharged engines is now a thing of the past.
